Thanks to our amazing community the tradition continues...

This wonderful "Purple Day" event was hosted by several Warwick schools in November, in honor of Gianna. The staff and students combined their efforts to not only remember Gianna, but raise money for the Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund to help us to continue to educate the community about sepsis.

We are very excited to have been able to hand out posters and bookmarks to the schools to familiarize the community with the warning signs of sepsis and protocols to follow to save lives!

We would like to thank all of the staff, teachers, parents and students at Greenwood Elementary School, Warwick Vets Middle School, Oakland Beach Elementary School and Winman Middle School. We appreciate all of you! Together, not only did you raise over $800 in honor of Gianna, but you helped spread Sepsis Awareness by wearing purple!

This truly fills our hearts and we cannot thank you all enough!

**If your school took part in a Purple Day, and was not listed here, or you would like to host a Purple Day at your school, please let us know!  We want to thank you and send your school posters and bookmarks to share. Please contact us with pictures, info about your event, and questions at info@gistrong.org.
