Our Board of Directors

Tara joined the board of the GCMF in 2024. Tara is a Registered Nurse at Warwick Public Schools.

 

Tara is a proud mom to two boys, Garrett, 13, and Wesley, 10. She has an older sister named Nina, who has cerebral palsy, inspires her daily life, and participates in the Boulder Dash and Special Olympics. Her mother and grandmother are her two favorite women, and her words of wisdom and warmth. She is an avid runner and yogi and enjoys nature, especially the beach, and meditation. On Sundays, she attends Pilgrim Lutheran Church and serves on their board.

 

Tara is continuing her education in nursing, with a focus on pediatrics. She wanted to join the GCMF board because sepsis has taken lives silently throughout her nursing career. She is also inspired by Tara Cirella and her strength in honoring her daughter Gianna's memory and helping others as she raises awareness throughout her community. She wants to help the GCMF’s continued growth and raise sepsis awareness.
