Thanks to All Who Made the 9th Annual Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund 5K Walk/Run a Success!

We'd like to take one last moment of your time to send such an amazing THANK YOU to all of you for making the 9th Annual Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund 5k Walk/Run such a success.

We raised nearly $16,000.00 this year!  As you know, this money helps us provide care bags to Hasbro Children's, offer two $3,000.00 scholarships to local eligible high school students, offer support to families in and around our community who have been affected by sepsis, and work to continually share sepsis awareness and provide educational materials.

Largest Team Award

The largest team award went to the "Washed Up Titans," with 34 team members.  This was an exciting new addition to our 5k and a total of 13 teams participated.  If you were a member of the Washed Up Titans and did not get your prize, please contact us!

Top Fundraiser 

The top fundraiser was Megan Coolen, who raised just over $700. We thank Megan for her continued support and hard work helping us raise awareness and help those affected by sepsis. Megan herself is a sepsis survivor so she raises money both to honor her survival and to stand with us in our mission. 

As she wrote to us recently, "Awareness, education, and research are our greatest hope. I ...stand with a foundation that has supported me in ways I can never fully express."
