Sharing Gianna's Story

On October 25th, Tara along with Board Member, Jessie Carpenter and Gianna’s high school soccer coach, Lonna Razza went to Winslow Field to meet the U6, U8 and U10 soccer teams that play on the teams sponsored by the Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund. The players were all given a brief story about why they wear purple, who Gianna is, and how sharing her story is a wonderful way to be sepsis aware! Each player was also given a water bottle, a GiStrong bracelet and a sepsis bookmark.

We are thankful for the players, their parents and the coaches for giving us the opportunity to meet them and spread awareness.
