Working towards our mission . . .
This year we have been able to supply approximately a dozen GiStrong Care Bags to the Hasbro PICU for the families and kids in need. These bags are filled with essentials that are very much appreciated when a child is hospitalized and simple things that may be needed aren't readily available without leaving their side.
Below is an example of why we feel our Care Bags are so important: "Hi Tara, I wanted to let you know we received one of the Gianna purple bags while at Hasbro recently. The cozy blanket, treats and gift card were very much appreciated. I was able to get my soup, ginger ale and cookie from Au Bon Pain. This is the meal that is always comforting during our Hasbro stays. The PICU nurse was kind in explaining the importance of a warm blanket and it really felt like the warm hug I needed.
